A day of fun

I spent a full day at DisneySea, and it was incredible from start to finish. I loved exploring Mysterious Island and riding Journey to the Center of the Earth. Mermaid Lagoon was beautiful with its colorful interior. The fireworks were a perfect way to end the day. I also enjoyed trying different snacks, especially the sea salt ice cream. Meeting Mickey in his sailor outfit was a highlight. I recommend this to anyone visiting Tokyo.

A great experience for the whole family

My favorite part was riding “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” with my kids. They couldn’t stop talking about it. Even while we had to wait in line, the themed areas kept us entertained. That’s not always the case at other theme parks. We also loved the Big Band Beat show because the live music was amazing. The shops in the American Waterfront had great souvenirs, and we found gifts for everyone at home. The staff were kind and helpful all day. This visit made our Tokyo trip even better.

Tokyo Disneysea Tickets

GO ON A DISNEYSEA ADVENTURE

Begin your visit at Tokyo DisneySea, a short journey from Tokyo Station. The park has many themed areas, each offering different attractions and entertainment. Mediterranean Harbor features canals, stone bridges, and “Venetian gondolas”. Stroll through the Mermaid Lagoon. You'll find glowing coral towers and bright seashell paths. Meet Ariel, Prince Eric, or King Triton inside the indoor kingdom. Stop by shops to find Duffy the Disney Bear toys or themed cookies. Restaurants offer snacks like Mickey-shaped churros, sea salt popcorn, or Japanese pork buns. Every area is built with detailed sets, music, and characters to bring Disney stories to life.

RIDE EXCITING ATTRACTIONS

Experience “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in Mysterious Island. There, you travel deep into caverns and erupt from Mount Prometheus. Ride through mysterious tunnels and pass by glowing crystals and strange creatures. Explore underwater on “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”. There you'll search for Atlantis in a suspended submarine. Join “Nemo & Friends SeaRider” to shrink to the size of a fish. Swim through reefs with Nemo, Dory, and Crush. Younger ones can enjoy “Flounder’s Flying Fish Coaster” in the Mermaid Lagoon. There are also “Scuttle’s Scooters” and “Blowfish Balloon Race”, which they will find fun. Don’t miss “Aquatopia” in Port Discovery. It is a trackless water ride that spins across shallow pools. Each attraction includes special effects, detailed sets, and stories tied to the sea.

ENJOY SHOWS, DINING, AND SHOPPING

Watch Big Band Beat at the American Waterfront, where Mickey performs a live tap dance with a jazz band. Stay for “Believe! Sea of Dreams”.This nightly spectacular takes place above Mount Prometheus and Mediterranean Harbor. You can also catch many Disney characters and greet them. See Donald in his sailor outfit, or Goofy in his captain's uniform. Enjoy meals at themed restaurants all around the park. Enjoy seafood pizza at Ristorante di Canaletto. Try curry at Casbah Food Court. Don't miss the burgers at Cape Cod Cook-Off. You can also try snacks like alien mochi, tiramisu ice cream sandwiches, or spicy chicken legs. The park also has many shops you can explore. Check out Emporio, Valentina’s Sweets, or McDuck’s Department Store for toys, snacks, and seasonal items. Every moment brings something fresh to enjoy. Whether you like rides, shows, characters, or food, there's something for everyone.

PRO TIP

Do not wait until you get to the park to buy your tickets. The ticket booths at the front gates are closed and do not sell tickets. Get your tickets online before your journey to secure your space. You don’t want to show up at the gate and leave your little ones disappointed.

Interesting facts about Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea has one of the largest water systems of any Disney park. The park’s waterways cover more than 9 hectares of its 49-hectare area and hold about 155 million liters of water. Those waters run through many areas of the park and give it a constant sense of movement. The park is also known for its dramatic architecture. One of its most iconic structures is the Tower of Terror that stands out across the skyline. Tokyo DisneySea is the only Disney park themed entirely around the sea. Its stories are inspired by oceans, exploration, and nautical fantasy.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • All guests need electronic Tokyo DisneySea Tickets on a smartphone to enter the park. Paper tickets are not accepted.
  • Certain attractions, shows, and character greetings need reservations through the app. Download it before your visit to save time.
  • Popular dining spots fill up quickly. Walk-ins are not always guaranteed, so booking ahead is recommended.
  • Your Tokyo DisneySea pass is valid only for Tokyo DisneySea on the selected date and cannot be used for Tokyo Disneyland.
  • Tokyo DisneySea gets crowded on weekends and holidays. Arriving early lets you enjoy popular rides with shorter wait times.

Meeting Point

From Maihama Station, board the Disney Resort Line monorail at Resort Gateway Station and ride for 12 minutes to reach Tokyo DisneySea entrance.

FUN FACT

Tokyo DisneySea is the only Disney park in the whole world themed entirely around the ocean and sea legends. Instead of a fairy tale castle in the middle of the park, it has a giant volcano called Mount Prometheus. The volcano actually erupts throughout the day, shooting fire into the sky with loud booming sounds.
