Great tactic to see a huge city

So, Tokyo is one of the biggest cities I’ve ever seen in my life. But what I like about this bus is that it makes discovering Tokyo easy. OK, it’s huge, but driving around in this bus feels like you can see all its main landmarks fairly easily. Places like Asakusa, Shibuya, Ginza, etc. You might not get off and see every single thing, but you still get the general feel for the city. And honestly it’s nice just to drive around and relax. It gives your legs a rest! Plus you learn while sitting haha. The audio guide honestly was pretty good, and I appreciated they had French.

I highly suggest the Shinjuku - Shibuya route

I know it’s all subjective, but I LOVED the Shinjuku - Shibuya route. I’d say this is the most modern, exciting part of Tokyo, from the little that I saw. It was super cool to be in the middle of all that rush and all those lights. Harajuku was so much fun, especially in the evening. If you want more culture and history, the Tokyo Tower is probably better. That was my brother’s favorite; he went to two Tokyo museums. I also have to say the bus was super comfortable, I didn’t mind sitting for a couple hours. And it’s very nice and refreshing to sit in the open air and feel a breeze.

ENJOY TREASURED TOKYO EXPERIENCES ON THE TOKYO SKYTREE ROUTE

The Tokyo Skytree route takes you through Tokyo’s most iconic attractions. On this route you’ll explore Ryoguku - the heartland of professional sumo wrestling. It’s a great place to see some matches. The route also takes you through Asakusa, where you’ll find the Senso-ji Temple. This is Tokyo's oldest temple, and an important religious site. It has around 30 million visitors each year! Other fun neighborhoods include Ueno, where you’ll find Japan’s oldest zoo; it was opened in 1882. But above all, the Tokyo Skytree is unmissable. It’s Japan’s tallest tower, stretching 634 m high to offer panoramic views over Tokyo.

SEE OLDER AND NEWER LANDMARKS ON THE TOKYO TOWER - TSUKIJI - GINZA ROUTE

If you want to get a complete picture of Tokyo, the Tokyo Tower - Tsukiji - Ginza route is your best bet. You'll see both sides of the city: traditional and modern. A good example is the Tsukiji Fish Market. This bustling seafood market has been operating since 1935! You can also easily visit the Zojo-ji Temple: a historic Buddhist temple from 1393. But not too far from these older sights are new neighborhoods like Ginza. This is the place to be for upscale shopping, with countless boutiques and luxury brands. Odaiba - an artificial island - is also a hotspot, and is full of entertainment and leisure activities.

DISCOVER URBAN HOTSPOTS ON THE SHINJUKU - SHIBUYA ROUTE

Last but not least, the Tokyo Hop-On Hop-Off Bus can also bring you to the most vibrant areas: Shinjuku and Shibuya. Shinjuku is the city’s most exciting entertainment center, full of neon lights. The district has great bars, restaurants, and cafes. Plus, it’s home to the iconic Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. This monumental building is made up of three structures, each taking up a city block. Shibuya is also bustling, with Shibuya Crossing being one of the world's busiest pedestrian crossings. Here you’ll find countless vintage shops, especially in Harajuku. There's also no end to creative art and music boutiques.
